In 1996, we found our own pearl processing factory in Zhuji, Zhejiang province. In 2001, we established our wholesale and export branch of freshwater pearls in Guangzhou, which is the most important wholesale center in China.
After more than 20 years development, we have great scale and cost advantage. Now we own about 3000 acres of pearl farms. Our pearl factory process around 40 tons of freshwater pearls each year. We also acumulate many great skills in processing pearls. Our pearls are more strong and lasting in luster. In 2004, we expanded our business to semi-precious stones. The semi-precious stone business grew rapidly and we make almost all the semi-precious stone factories in China our suppliers. We purchase very large quantity of semi-precious stone beads each time from the factories so we can always get a closeout price. As a result, we have great advantage in cost, even over many factories.
