DEF Guideway is a high performance thermoplastic materials for use on linear bearing application as found on the guideways of machine tools and other linear bearing applications.
Guideways on machine tools ensure the exact direction of motion of componesnts such as siledes, sleeves, quills, plungers. Etc. At the same time, guideways must be bear the weight of guided components and workpieces and absorb the machining forces without deformation.

Property Characteristics
1) High Wearing Resistance: Normally ten times of cast iron guide, good accuracy maintenance
2) Low Friction: Friction coefficient<0.04, only 1/3 of cast iron guide, reducing the driving-energy consumption
3) No Creeping: Moving steadily
4) Good Shock-absorbing Ability: Improving processing accuracy
5) Good Lubrication
6) Easy-to-do Maintenance: As the hardness is much lower than metal, friction is mainly on the bands, we can just replace new bands. Meanwhile, it prevents the middle-deboss of the machine tool body.
