Cement Based Infiltration Crystalline Type Waterproofing Coating

Introduction:
L-108 is efficient and environment-friendly coating fabricated by mixture of imported capillary crystalline master batch, high-performance additives, high-strength cement, and grading quartz sand. Active substances rich in such product can dissolve in water and infiltrate the concrete. After reacting with unhydration cement, such active substances become stiff and water-fast crystals, filling into pores and cracks of concrete, which improve the density and waterproofness of the structure. Remarkably, waterproofness works perennial in dry-and-wet cyclic process.

Range of application:

Construction tips:
1. Base treatment
(1) Ensure the base being no water, dust and pollutant, strong, smooth and clean without structure defect. Proper compressive strength and flexural strength are required.
(2) Pits, holes, and cracks over 0.5mm long on the base should be filled and outthrust must be wiped out.
(3) Internal corners, external corners and complex node parts should be treated into arc angles.
(4) Bases are required to be humid but ponding-free before construction.

2. Method of application
(1) Pour 25kg L-108 powders into water (plaster method: 5.5L; Brushing method: 10L) slowly under stirring (700W, 500-700rpm) until the the lump of solid in the mixture disappear, then stop stirring for 10min and stir once again before application. The mixture obtained should be used within 1 hour.
(2) Two or more layers of coating is required, each of which should be brushed in perpendicular direction to previous layer and constructed after previous layer is dry and solidified. High pressure spraying method is also available in construction processes.
(3) Coating constructed in summer needs moist maintenance 3-5 times after 12 hours. Better maintenance by covering humid cloth or straw bags is also suggested if affordable.

Notes:
1. Mechanical stirring is needed to ensure well stirring.
2. Stirring twice contributes to curing, uniformity, eliminating air bubble.
3. The amount of water should not be excessive for retaining property of coating.
4. Palm fibre or wool brushes are suggested.
5. Sun exposure in summer or construction below 5 oC should be prevented.

Reference dosage
Reference dosage is 1-1.2kg per square meter. (brush two layers)
Environmental protection measures
Expired product after inspection qualified can be normal use, if unqualified Scrap disposal should be done. Scrap products should comply with local laws and regulations, no optionally dumping.

Health and safety
This product contains cement ingredients irritant to skin, which requires prevention from powder suction during construction. Please wear appropriate personal protective equipments like gloves, goggles and dust masks, if necessary. If this product contacts with skin, wash with water flushing. If the product comes into eyes, please wash with mass water immediately and seek medical treatment.

Storage and transportation
1. Keeping away from rain washing, damaging during transportation and storing indoor, avoiding light.
2. Storage life of product unsealed is one year.
