C, Softshell principle:
1, TPU and PU waterproof and breathable membrane
They are nonporous hydrophilic films. Since the film itself is not porous, waterproof effect is very good, but also makes fabric windproof warm. The vapor pressure difference between inside and outside clothing depend on the steam from a high pressure location to a low place, in order to achieve the function of the moisture.
2, PTFE breathable waterproof membrane
PTFE membrane is microporous. So it is really breathable film. The principle is the PTFE membrane per square centimeter over one billion micropores, the diameter of these pores is water drop 1/20000, it is 700 times of the sweat vapor and water vapor molecules's the diameter, so that to achieve the effect of the waterproof and breathable.
