These universal probes are used to check defects such as short circuits via comparisons of resistance or capacitance between circuits.The high-end PJ25 series of bare PCB test probes, of which the barrel is made from materials imported from Japan, is manufactured by Shenzhen Centalic Metal Parts Limited. Its test centers is
25 mil (0.65 mm). It can be fitted with various optional tip styles and the receptacle RJ25-VCRW. The receptacle and the barrel are both made from phosphor bronze( plated gold). The spring is made from music wire( plated gold). The plunger is made from high carbon steel (standard) or hardened beryllium copper (custom) (plated nickel or gold over nickel).
