Zirconia Ceramic has high hardness just behind diamond. At the moment, ZrO2 is the most excellent technical ceramic material in mechanics performance. It has been widely used as wear resistant parts, corrosion resistant parts, temperature resistant parts in the fields of Aerospace, Medical, Power Generation & Distribution, Automotive, Process Control & Monitoring, Industrial Equipment, Electronic & Electrical.
Zirconia Ceramic cutter is usually called "diamond cutter" because it doesn't rust and has good wear resistance property. The wear resistance property and working life is about ten times of metal cutters so that production lines need not to be stopped to replace spinning cutters everyday. It will reduce the rejection rate of textile products resulting from the cutter passivation. Ceramic spinning cutter doesn't produce rust and will not pollute textile products. Therefore, it is the best replacement of metal cutters.
