3. Key Features
PHOENIXWELD SJ501A is an active flux which features good welding properties, easy slag removal, good bean appearance, and insensitive to rust and mill scale. It suited to single or multiple pass welding, especially multiple pass welding of thick steel plate.
4. Typical Applications
Single and multiple pass welding, fillet and butt welds with unlimited plate thickness. Weld of various of structural steel, weathering steels pair with suitable alloy welding wires. Widely used in pipe, heavy industrial, pressure vessel, bridge, ship applications.
5. Attention
Re-dry flux at 300-350 C (572-662° F) for 60 mins before welding.
Low voltage and welding speed are required in multi-layer groove welding.
Add new flux regularly to achieve excellent welding characteristics.
6. Package
Fluxes are packed in 25KG for moisture repellent bag, 25KG for bucket, 400KG for bulk bag.
