The followings are regular steps of hoist drop test and listed for user's convenience.
Any drop test operations should be executed according to the instruction of builder's
hoist.
1) Switch off the main power supply and turn the electric cabinet switch to
"INSTALLATION OVERHAUL" location.
2) Install test cable connect it to the wiring base with "DROP TEST" marks in the
cage electric cabinet.
3) Fix the test cable near to the cage electric cabinet, put the operation box and
cable onto the ground station through door or other suitable hole. Make sure
that that the cable not be jammed while the drop test is carried out.
4) Load the cage to rated weight, turn on the main switch, push the "RISE" button
on the test cable operation box, and lift the cage to 10 meter height from the
ground.
5) Push "DROP TEST" button and keep press status, at this time the
electric-magnetic brake relaxes, the cage should drop downwards. When the
drop speed reaches the standard action speed of the safety device, the safety
device would act immediately and stop the cage on the rail support. (Attention:
If the cage drops to 3 meter height from ground, and the safety device does not
stop the cage, user should release the "DROP TEST" button to ensure that the
electric-magnetic brake can act and stop the cage.)
6) Disassemble the test cable and turn the switch to" NORMAL" location.

Recovery of the safety device:
Except for drop test, if the safety device braking happens, before recovery operation
the safety device action reason should firstly be investigated, at the same time the
followings should be identified
1) Whether the brake works normally.
2) Whether the turbine pair and the coupling work normally.
3) Whether the guide rolling wheel and support rolling wheels work normally.
4) Whether pinion and the rack work normally.
5) Whether position limited structure on the safety device work normally (when
inspection the electric circuit should be switched off).
