Detailed Description

XLPE insulated power cable has excellent heat-mechanical electrical and chemical erosion resistant properties. Meanwhile its simple structure, light weight, convenient transmission and laying make it sure that the cable can be laid every where without limitation to difference of level.

Compared with paper insulated power cable, XLPE insulated power cable is more superior. Its bending radius is smaller, current-carring capacity is bigger. Besides, it is more simple to join the middle, and more easy to be produced and laid and cleaner. As a result XLPE insulated power cable is widely used in city electrical net, high building, over mountain. Petrochemical industry cable taking the place of paper insulated power cable.

Application
It is designed for electricity transmission and distribution, at rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below.

Application Character
Maximum rated temperature of cable conductor is 90ºC
Maximum short-circuit temperature of cable conductor ≤ 250ºC
The temperature when laying cable ≥ 0ºC, The minimum bending diameter of cable is stipulated as follow:

For single-core cable: 20(D+d)±5% in millimeter.
For multi-core cable: 15(D+d)±5% in millimeter.
Where: D is the actual outer diameter of the cable
 d is the actual outer diameter of the conductor.

Broken Strength of the cable
For Aluminum core cable: 4*S (N)
For Copper core cable: 7*S (N)
Where: S is the total cross-section area of the cable.

1) We can produce:
1. All types of flame retardant and fire-safe cable. Flame retardant power cables are marked with "ZA", "ZB" or "ZC", which are added before the above listed model types.
A: A class flame retardant
B: B class flame retardant
C: C class flame retardant
Fire-safe power cable is marked with "N", added before the above types.
2. We also can produce low-halogen low-smoke(LHLS) and LSOH flame retardant cable.
LHLS is marked by "DDZA", "DDZB" or "DDZC".
Low-smoke zero-halogen is marked by "WDZA", "WDZB" or "WDZC".
3. We can produce 0.6/1kV cable. Sioplas insulated cable at voltage 1.8/3 to 6/10kV.
4. Waterblocking, waterproof, gopher protection, anti-termite, low toxicity cable.
5. Prefabrifated branched cable
6. The technical parameters of various special cables refer to that of sioplas.
2)  To armor the simgle-core cable, we adopt non-magnetic material or constructing for reducing magnetic loss. Only D.C. Voltage is suitable for single-core armored cable(steel tape or steel wire armored cable)
