With extremely low thermal conductivity and thermal mass, the ceramics fibers are used as insulation material in the ceramics firing process for both kiln lining and kiln cars' insulation,the typical refractory classifications are 1000ºC, 1260ºC, 1400ºC, 1500ºC & 1600ºC. Not only working temperature, the tensile strength, contamination level and linear shrinkage are also critical as well during application. Each brand of fiber products have different properties between the above four factors, it needs to be selected carefully according to the position and flame condition where placed the ceramics fibers.
