East Asia Composites is now building the Rod Lacco designed and built Opal 5.4m Centre Console speed boat. This boat has a popular proven history with many of them operating along the coast, rivers and and lakes of Australia. The moulds were shipped from Australia to China in 2008 and now they can be be built and shipped to all markets or sold domestically within China.
Standard Included Equipment Specifications include console with windscreen, Stainless Steel handrail and Perspex lockable doors on rear face, Anchor locker bin, 1 x Aft removable floor panels down centre line, Limber holes in floor structure leading to aft sump allows drainage, PVC Gunwhale fender, Stainless Steel bow roller, U-bolt on bow, Anchor locker lid, 2 x 150mm fixed cleats aft, Engine well drains, 2 x U-bolts on transom, 1 x Transom drainage bung

Additional Details include Construction to ISO /NPG WHITE gel coat, Hand laminated polyester resin with E glass fabrics and structural reinforcements to suit the intended use of the craft. Moulded structural floor system bonded to hull with VE adhesive system. Structural foam core transom. Finishing of all interior surfaces will be sealed with a Polyester fleck flow coat. All sharp edges removed. Deck surface painted in polyester, non skid light grey. Recommended engine is 60 HP. Not included.
