6D movie theaters adopt the latest technologies incorporating themes and special effects that are the epitome of digital technology. One major feature of the 6D system is the introduction of moving seats that are interconnected to the computer system that is playing the movie. This system is able to simulate the actions and scenes in the movie and replicate them in the theater. These scenes are such as winds, rain or mist, earthquakes and even rolling and are reflected through seat movements. These enable the viewer to feel as if they were part of the action. Three kinds of chair designs are currently available including hydraulic powered chairs, pneumatic driven chairs and motor driven systems. The best systems are the motor driven systems. The Screen systems used in 6D theaters utilize three types of screens. These are the flat screens, arc screens and round screens. The aim of these screens is to expand the images and the scope of movements and project 3 dimensional objects to eliminate the limitation of level of sight and create the impression of real space.
