Air / Gas Vortex Shedding Flow Meter (A+E 83F)The Vortex Shedding Flow Meter is based on Karman Vortex Street principle, the release frequency and the flow velocity of Karman Vortex Street is in direct proportion with each other. So by measuring the release frequency of Karman Vortex Street, we can calculate instantaneous flow.
Vortex Flow Meter Features
--Adopts low-power CPU and LCD display for low power dissipation.
--Easy installation, very convenient maintenance, and its re-testing period is long, about 2 years in general.
--The structure is simple and firm without moveable parts and the long-term operation is very reliable.
--Wide measuring range: Normal range: 1: 10 and the measuring range ratio can reach 1: 15.
--Small pressure loss, low operation expense, which has more significance in energy conservation.
--Within a certain range of Reynolds number, the output signal will not be impacted by the changes of physical property and component of measured media, and the instrument coefficient is only related to the shape and dimension of vortex shedder. There is no need to re-calibrate the instrument coefficient after exchanging accessories.
--Either onsite display or remote transmission is enabled, and it can also connect with the computer control system.
--The detection probe will not directly contact the measured medium so the performance is very stable.
--With temperature and pressure compensation integrated design, the output signals of this vortex flow meter are all optoelectronic isolated and have good anti-common-mode interference property.
This vortex flow meter is widely applied to the process metering and energy conservation management of various low viscosity liquid, gas, steam and other one-way fluids in the industries of petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, mechanicals, food, papermaking and urban duct heat supply, water supply and coal gas, etc.
