Purchase guide
Misconception 1: Copper radiator will never get corroded
Generally, copper is more corrosion resistant than steel, but it does not corrode under certain conditions, for example, when there are silt or too much sulfur, or when there is a carbonization zone on the copper surface.
Misconception 2: Thick walls solve the corrosion problem
Misconception 3: Aluminum radiators never corrdes
No matter cast aluminum radiators, or die-casting aluminum radiators or new design aluminum radiators, there is possibility of leakage, different material corrodes because of different reason. Aluminum is good at oxidization resistance but bad at caustic and cholridion resistance. So the aluminum radiators are not safe when the water is alkali(pH HIGHER THAN 7), or rich in chlordion(rich salt).
