Ammonium perrhenate (APR) is the ammonium salt of perrhenic acid, NH4ReO4. It
is a white, water-soluble salt. It was first described soon after the
discovery of rhenium.Ammonium Perrhenate is mainly used in petrifaction realm,
to make platinum rhenium two metal reforming activator, and pure rhenium
powder is produced by reduced Ammonium Perrhenate, it also used to manufacture
rhenium alloy, like tungsten-rhenium alloy and molybdenum alloy.
