The shard of this products is from palaced used porcelain, Hongzhi period(1488-1505), Ming dynasty. We also have a certificate to prove which dynasty it is come from.
Yellow is the most important colour for the emperor. Because the yellow and emperor have a some character pronounciation in Chinese, so the yellow glazed porcelains only can be used by the royal family. Ordinary folks never never use that! ! !
In the Ming dynasty(1368-1644), if some civilians used yellow glazed procelains, they will be sentenced to capital punishment, all of the assest in their family will be confiscated and men will be foced to attend the military. And in the Qing dynasty(1644-1911), the controling of yellow glazed porcelains was stricter then before, even the broken ones.
There is another reason for why the yellow galazed procelains didn't appear among ordinary folks is the secrest of how to make yellow ones were highly controled by the royal family. Nobody knows how to make it.
