Metal Analysis Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometer For Agricultural , AF420
 
The Atomic Fluorescence Spectroscopy (AFS) technique is widely used for determination of hydride forming elements and Mercury analysis. The technique provides an alternative to the conventional method of connecting a hydride generator to an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Due to the high intensity Hollow Cathode lamp source and low baseline noise offered by this technique, the usable sensitivity is greatly improved offering very low detection limits (ppt).

The AFS instrument fulfils the analysis by means of simultaneous detection, accurate sample introduction and stable furnace temperature control complementing the more widely used AAS flame/graphite systems.

Unique high volume reagent storage positioned outside of the instrument to reduce contamination.
Connection of carrier and reducer liquids to instrument using long life chemical resistant FEP tubing.
