[Description]: Bacillus subtilis is a environmentally-friendly biofungicide produced by Pucheng Greenshell Bio-pesticide Co., Ltd...Bacillus subtilis is a first registered biofungicide in china for control Cladosporium fulvum on tomatoes. It is effective against a number of economically important diseases including powdery mildews, gray molds, early blight, late blight, Rhizoctonia solani ect., and will be also registered for use on cucurbits, strawberry, eggplant, grapes, leafy vegetables, peppers and rises.
Bacillus subtilis is a fermentation product which utilizes a natural microbe Bacillus subtilis G3 strain and agricultural raw materials soybean powder and corn starch. It is friendly on the environment, does not harm beneficial insects and can be applied up to the day of harvest.
Bacillus subtilis can compete head to head with conventional pesticides on performance, reliability and ease of use. Bacillus subtilis fits into IPM programs, particularly those aimed at resistance management. It can be applied as a foliar spray alone, in alternating spray programs or in a tank mix with other registered fungicides.
Bacillus subtilis G3 strain can produce three antifungal substances: Iturin A, surfactin and plant anti-fungal enzymes(including the chitinase). Iturin A can inhibit germination of plant pathogen spores, disrupt germ tube and mycelial growth; Surfactin and chitinase can inhibit spores germination, stop elongation of germ tube. Thus, Bacillus subtilis inhibits attachment of the plant pathogen to the leaf by producing a zone of inhibition restricting the growth of these disease causing pathogens. Bacillus subtilis G3 strain is also a plant growth-promoting bacteria and can induce the plant's Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) response.
[Formulation]: 10 11cfu/G TC, 2× 10 10cfu/g WP, 8× 10 9cfu/g Aqueous solution
[Use Site]: Tomatoes, cucurbits, strawberry, grapes, leafy vegetables, peppers, eggplant,
Potatoes, cherry, walnut and rises.
[Target Pests]: Powdery mildews (Sphaerotheca macularis, Sphaerotheca cucurbitae, Erysiphe pisi), gray molds(Botrytis cinerea), early blight(Alternaria solani), late blight(Phytophthora infestans), Cladosporium fulvum, Rhizoctonia solani.
[Number and timing of applications]: Vary with crop and level of infestation and usually 5~7d/each time, 4~6 times in a growth period.
[Application Methods]: Mixed with water and sprayed on foliage using ground equipment.
[Caution]: Preserve in cool and dry place, can mix with other insecticides and fungicides but not bactericides in a tank.
