Best quality sodium alginate for textile

Sodium alginate is the sodium salt of alginic acid. Its form as a gum, when extracted from the cell walls of brown seaweed (particularly kelp grown in the cold water regions of Ireland, Scotland, North and South America, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa).

As a natural amylose carbohydrate distilled from alga, sodium Alginate is widely applied to food, medicine, textile, printing and dyeing, paper-making and daily chemicals.

In printing and dyeing industry, the printing paste made of sodium alginate has property of good stability which can produce thin coating in printing process and so to make the tinctorial yield increase. The membrane in fibre is soft, firm and easy to be washed.
