Product Description
Toosendanin
Common name: Toosendanin
Molecular formula: C30H38O11
Physical and chemical properties:
1) Appearance: White crystal powder.
2) Melting point: 244~245degree celsius
3) Solubility: Easy to soluble in acetone, methanol, ethanol, soluble in ethanediol, slightly soluble in benzene and chloroform, hardly soluble in water.
Toxicity: Acute oral(rat) LD 502194mg/kg. Toosendanin is accumulated, so we should not continuously use it.
Mode of action:
Once pests touch toosendanin and eat, it can block nervous central conduction, damage midgut tissue, detoxification enzyme system and respiratory metabolism, influence digestive absorption, lose taste sense, and not eat any more, finally die of hunger.
Toosendanin is a broad spectrum insecticide which exerts its function mainly by direct contact and stomach poison, subsidiary by antifeedant.
Usage:
It is widely used on many crops, has high efficacy against cabbage worm, Mamestra brassicae, beet armyworm, aphid, mite, whitefly etc...
