Acting as starting element, DL-30 series current relay is applied in over-load and short circuit protection lines of the transmission line of generator and transformer.
DY-30 series voltage relay works as the action element of over-voltage protection or LV blocking in relaying protection lines.
The structure of the relay is a pluggable type, flush installation. Transparent plastic outer casing eases the view of setting values and specification of the relay.
The relay belongs to electromagnetic type and act transiently. The magnetic system has two coils whose ends connect to the base terminals. The user can set the relay in series or parallel if necessary, thus to double the setting range of the relay.
The scale value and rated value on the nameplate of the relay are those of the serial coils in the current relay (take 'A' as unit) and the parallel coils in the voltage relay ('V' as unit). Move the pointer in the division scale to change the reaction moment of the hairspring, which results in the changing of the action value of the relay
