Our plant, invested with USD200 millioons, is designed to run on several types of feed stocks such as Plam Kernel Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil and other vegetable Oils. We have an installed capacity of 400MT/day or130, 000MT/year of surfactant-fatty alcohols, fractionated fatty acids and USP Glycerine. Mixed fatty acids or alcohols of required compositions can be blended to meet customer's requirements.

The plant is equipped with the world's biggest, most advanced, single fatty alcohol system, using German Lurgi's patented wax-ester route process. It is also equipped with the latest state-of the art Profibus-PA DCS system and instruments, allowing for continuous online monitoring of operating parameters and ensures consistency in products quality to meet customer's stringent requirements.

The realization of the Teck Guan oleo chemical plant is an incidental consequential act out of planting raw materials for C12 and C14 as early as 45 years ago, which are now used for the manufacture of surfactrant-fatty alcohol. As years went by, our oil palm areas grew, and so was production. This has enabled us to realize the self supply of raw materials to our fatty alcohol plant. Teck Guan is supply dependable.
