Basic information
Barium chloride is the inorganic compound with the formula BaCl2. It is one of the most common water-soluble salts of barium. Like other barium salts, it is toxic and imparts a yellow-green coloration to a flame. It is also hygroscopic.
Usage
Barium chloride dihydrate is used for metal heat-treatment, electronic instrument, also can be used as soft agent, also used as an analytical reagent and dehydrated agent, also used for machining of heat treatment. And it's important law material for other barium salts.
