North Star's latest high-pressure DTH hammers offer easy maintenance and low failure rates, plus high energy-transfer ratios to increase drilling speed. All parts undergo special heat treatment to increase wear resistance. A central exhaust system improves airflow, promoting efficient clearing of debris and faster penetration rates.

North Star's range of DTH bits is adapted to a wide variety of formations and mining environments. Our bits are designed for efficient and safe operation. We use high-quality steel for strength and durability, plus hardened carbide teeth in a variety of bit profiles to ensure performance in hard and abrasive conditions.

We have set the lead in manufacturing drilling tools in North China since 1998, when our founder Wang Yuxi opened the North factory only two hours from central Beijing. In 2009 production began at our new China Star campus, the largest dedicated HDD facility in China. The North Star trading company was established in 2010 to bring our high-quality Chinese drilling products to the global market.
In addition to products from our own factories, North Star also supplies drilling tools from selected partner factories in China: All designed and manufactured according to North Star's specifications.
We were prime movers in establishing the first National Standards for the Chinese HDD industry. Our HDD rods are now exported worldwide to contractors using all major brands of HDD drill rig: From Vermeer and Ditch Witch to China's own Goodeng.
Our DTH systems are compatible with international rig brands such as Atlas Copco, Sandvik and Furukawa. We also supply drill pipes and other tools to contractors using multi-purpose hydraulic rigs such as Bauer's KR series and Casagrande's C series.
North Star's facilities and partner factories are ready to customize production, while our specialists are on call to provide instruction and training to help clients get the maximum value out of our drilling tools.
Many of our staff have been with us since Wang Yuxi opened his first factory in 1998. As we have diversified into manufacturing and supplying drilling tools for the mining and construction industries, so our workforce has expanded and acquired new skills. Today North Star's growing staff of drilling industry professionals is committed to serving customers not only in China, but all over the world.
