Chongqing Lifan Industry Group Co., Ltd. is a large private enterprise mainly engaged in scientific research & development, manufacturing and marketing (including export) of engine, general-purpose engine, motorcycle, automobile and electric vehicle, integrated with financial instrument, real-estate. By now, Lifan owns 12, 966 staff, out of whom over 8, 935 with education of technical secondary school or junior college. Lifan has been continuously listed in China Top 500 Enterprises for 10 times and has been No. 1 in Chongqing exportation of auto and motorcycle industry for years. On November 25th, 2010, the subsidiary holding shares, Lifan industry (Group) Co., Ltd. Was successfully listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code 601777), firstly publicly issuing 200 million shares and raising funds of 2.9 billion RMB, and became the first private enterprise of passenger vehicle to be listed in China A-share. On Feb. 28, 2014, Chongqing Lifan Finance Co., Ltd. Was open and obtained "Financial License of The people's Republic of China", which is the first private finance company in Chongqing.

In 2014, Lifan holdings achieved a sales income of RMB 30.62 billion, including a production and sales of 283, 100 cars, 1.3935 million motorcycles, 3.6746 million engines and 401, 100 general-purpose engines with export of USD 1.033 Billion. By December 2014, Lifan has applied 9, 118 patents, out of which 7, 879 have been authorized, and with various index in the leading position nationwide, LIfan is a big tax-payer among Chongqing private enterprises.
