APPLICATIONS:
Butt and flat fillet welding of miniature LPG tanks, ships, vehicles, agricultural implements, machinery, boilers, Pressure vessels, structural steels.
CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Metallurgical behavior: High silicon and manganese pick- up is obtained.
2. Basicity: 0.7( BIIW). Grain size: 14 to 60 mesh.
3. TY-HJ431 is a kind of fused glassy granulated flux, colored as red-brown to light-yellow, high in manganese and silicon but low in fluoride. Either alternate or direct current can be used.
4. It also can be used for electroslag welding and copper welding. Excellent welding performance.
Usage:
When applied with welding wires such as H08A, H08MnA, H10Mn2 or H10MnSi, HJ431 can weld low-carbon steel and some low-alloy steel like 16Mn and 15MnV, as well as LPG tanks, ships, boilers and low-pressure vessels, Structural steels, etc.
