Bucket elevator is used for steeplifting block and bulk material, such as limestone, coal, gypsum, grog and dry clay, etc. and powdery material, such as green material, cement and coal fines, etc.
Dragging link of bucker elevator have endless chain, plate chain and rubber belt. The structure and production of ring chain is simple, and its connection with hopper is very strong, and chains are wore little when conveying materials with high abrasion, but its tare weight is bigger. Plate chain enjoyed strong structure and smaller tare weight, and suited for elevator with higher workload, but its articulate joint may be wore more easily. Though simple in structure, rubber belt don't suited for conveying materials with high abrasion. Materials'temperature should not exceeding 60ºC for ordinary rubber belt, 80ºC for rubber belt reinforced with cable, 120ºC for heat resistance rubber belt, and 250ºC for ring chain and plate chain.
