Electromagnetic pump can produce a linear magnetic field which propels molten metal in the pump tube to move, changing the power applied to EMP coils, molten flow will speed up or slow down. So it is a high-efficiency equipment to be used in the melt transferring. Now, EMP is used a primarily in aluminium recycling.
