Product Overview
CNU104 coaxial cable network unit is a Qualcomm Atheros 6400 chip scheme EOC (Ethernet over Coax) Slave which can be networking with CLT101 coaxial cable terminal (Master). They can build Layer-2 Ethernet transmit network through cable television coaxial cable and meanwhile have no influence on the pre-existing CATV signal transmit.
CNU104 provides four 100M full-duplex Ethernet interfaces that can be simultaneously connected to terminals such as computer, set-top box of digital television, IP phone, etc. It supports QoS set up and can provide corresponding transmit guarantee of priority level for data stream of different service types. It supports bandwidth control. Maximum Uplink bandwidth of every CNU104 can be set up in order to prevent the attack to the whole coaxial transmit network when devices of other customer premises network go wrong or artificial attack happens. Encrypted transmit is also available to satisfy the service need of high reliability.
CNU104 and CLT101 networking completely meets the requirement of Triple-play (integrating three networks into one) of broadcasting and television system. In actual networking, one single CLT101 can under-connects 253 CNU104 to realize relatively high convergence ratio. CNU104 occupies Low Frequency Band under 30MHz and has no collision with the current CATV system frequency which can decrease mutual interference.
