Epoxy Fatty Acids Methyl Ester/J108 substitute for DOP
J108 is a new type of cold-resisting plasticizer, which is proved to be the most minimum influence plasticizer to our environment during its useful life. It doesn't contain phthalate, including 6P, reported by SGS.
It is soluble in hydrocarbon coumpounds, ketones, esters, higher grade alcohols and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethanol as well. The low temperature flexibility(-53.2° C) of J108 is similar with DOA and its plasticizing efficiency (0.88) is even better than DOP. J108 could replace 15%-30% DOP in some specific fields.
J108 is the most widely used PVC nontoxic plasticizer and stabilizer. It is particularly consistent with PVC and has low volatility and mobility. Its high thermal stability, light stability and good resistance to water and oil endow the products with better mechanical strengh, weather resisting property and electrical property. Its non-toxicity makes it the internationally acknowledged chemical aid for all PVC products, such as, PVC flooring, foodstuff wrapper, medical ware, pellicle, sheet material, tubular goods, sealing plate of icebox, artificial leather, wire and cable material...
