EDC is a colourless liquid with specific odour. It is slightly soluble in water but mixex well with organic solvents. Produced through direct chlorination of ethylene with chlorine.
APPLICATION
Used as a feedstock for VCM production as well as for the production of pharmaceutical products.

PACKING AND TRANSPORT
EDC is transported in iron railway and road tankers as well as in specialized tankers.
