This Hydro-Pneumatic Cylinder represents a novel technology, where applied two techniques, namely, the speed of pneumatic action and the force developed by hydraulic is combined to impart the key features of a production machine. It is operated like a pneumatic cylinder and has the press force of a hydraulic cylinder. The changeover from fast to power stroke takes place automatically whenever the working rod hits an oppositing force during its fast aproach...
Operates only on shop air, without hydraulic power units. The controls are very simple, the same as for any double acting pneumatic cylinder.
The operating stroke is divided into three stages:
1. Air-operated approach stroke
2. Pneumohydraulic powerstroke
3. Air-operated return stroke
The simple design, with few moving parts, assures you of trouble-free operation for many years. The low approach forces protect your tooling and reduce the noise level.
