Product Description
A Fatty Acid Methyl Easter(FAME) can be created by an alkali catalyzed reaction between fats or Fatty Acids and methanol. The molecules in biodiesel FAMEs, usually obtained from vegetable oils by transesterification. Fatty Acid Methyl Easter is a material to synthesize quality surfactants and an important intermediate for orgnic synthesis. It is a mutual solvent with oil and fat and possesses the features of low viscosity. So Adipic Acid Monomethyl Ester is widely used in emulsifier products. In cosmetic industry, it can be used as solvent of perfume and brightening agent of shampoo. It also can be used as greasing agent and lubricant of leather.
