Toxicity: Moderate oral toxicity was observed in rats and mice, with LD50 values ranging from 245 to 520 mg/kg bw. Fenpyroximate was more toxic to rats when administered by inhalation, with LC50 values ranging from 0.21 to 0.36 mg/litre air. There were no signs of acute toxicity or dermal irritation after dermal application of either formulation.

Mite feeding and oviposition stop soon after application, with death occurring in 4-7 days.
