Product Description
FR-1 is an efficient cyclic phosphate ester flame retardant for polyester fiber. It is non-corrosive with high phosphorus content, excellent water solubility. It is mainly used for the treatment of polyester fabrics to impart a finish that is durable to washing and dry washing.

The FR-1 can be applied in combination with appropriate softener, cross-linking agent, anti-slip finishing agent.
2. Dissolving/diluting/additions
Take required FR-1 into Appropriate soft water and stirred until dissolved.
Drop 10% NaOH to the mix-up liquid and adjust it to PH6.5
Then and other finishing agent and dilute the solution to its desired concentration or volume.
The solution should be used in due time otherwise PH readjust must be implemented.
3. Required amount/procedure
Double padding: Expression 50-60%
Drying: 1-2min at 100-120
Baking: 1-2min at 190-200
Washing: Warm water at 45 and cold water
Notes
--Above mentioned formula and procedure can be altered according to type and source of supplied polyester and working system.
--Preliminary trials are advisable when other finishing agent than those recommended in this leaflet be used together with FR-1.
--Some dyestuff may be sensitive to FR-1, Preliminary trial for shade change are advisable.
--The temperature and time of baking process have a critical influence on the degree of fixation of the flame-retardant, a lower temperature may cause adverse effect of flame-resistance and washing-resistance.
--Washing process may be omitted in the certain condition.
