Properties: At normal temperature, Formic acid is a kind of clear, colorless liquid with characteristic of pungent odor. Formic acid's density is 1.2201(20/4° C), melting point is 8.6° C, boiling point is 100.8° C, flash point in open cup is 68.9° C and auto-ignition temperature is 601.1° C. Formic acid can be mutually dissolved with water, ethanol and glycerol. Formic acid is corrodible and reducible. Quality standard: GB/T2093-93.
Applications: Formic acid is a kind of basic material in organic chemicals. Formic acid is widely used in pesticides industry, leather industry, medicine industry, rubber industry, printing and dyeing industry.
