1. Application
The SEM051 series kWh meter is front panel mounted single phase electronic active energy meters. SEM051 series kWh meter adopt many advanced technologies of research and development, like microelectronic-techniques, specialized large-scale IC (integrated circuit), digital sampling and processing technology, SMT technique, and so on. Their technical performances for SEM051 series kWh meter completely conform to International Standards IEC 62053-21 for Class 1 single phase active energy meter. SEM051 series kWh meter can directly and accurately measure the load active energy consumption in the single phase AC networks of rated frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and used indoors or in the meter box outdoors. The SEM051 series kWh meter have multiple configurations for option, to be suitable with the various market demands. SEM051 series kWh meter have features with excellent long-term reliability, small volume, light weight, perfect appearance, easy installation, etc.
2. Functions and Features
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Front panel mounted in 3 points for fixing, the appearance and dimensions are in accordance with Standards BS 7856 and DIN 43857.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Can select the step motor impulse register of 5+1 digits (99999.1kWh) or 6+1 digits (999999.1kWh) LCD display.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Can select the maintenance free lithium battery inside for LCD display to read the meter while the power is cut.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Equipped with a polarity passive energy impulse output terminal, conforming to Standards IEC 62053-31 and DIN 43864.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; LEDs indicate the power state (green) and the energy impulse signal (red).
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Automatic detection for the load current flow direction and will be indicated by LED.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Measure the active energy consumption in one direction on single phase two wire or single phase three wire, which is not related with the load current flow direction at all, complying with Standards IEC 62053-21.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Direct connection. For single phase two wire, two types of connections: Type 1A and type 1B for option. For single phase three wire, the connection is type 2A.
√ SEM051 series kWh meter; Can select the extended terminal cover or short terminal cover.
