The Model OPS-528 egg incubator is a combination incubator setter and hatcher. It is the benchmark in semi-commercial egg incubators. It features state of the art technology and is extremely user friendly.

The Model OPS-528 has a very good track record amongst breeders around the world. It is the ideal egg incubator for breeders wanting to incubate larger quantities of eggs at a time.

This combination incubator features two separate compartments, the so-called setter and hatcher. The setter is the section of the incubator where the eggs go in for the first 18 days of the incubation process. Thereafter the eggs are shifted from the setter to the hatcher, where the eggs lay still until day 21 when the chicks hatch.

The Model OPS-528 can incubate up to 528 eggs per week. Eggs are loaded on a weekly basis -Week 1, you load 176 eggs in the first tray, week 2, you load another 176 eggs in the second tray and then finally on day 18, you load Weeks one's eggs into the hatcher which then makes space for another 176 eggs to be loaded. In this way eggs are then continually hatched on a weekly basis. Alternatively you can load up to 352 eggs at a time, for so-called batch incubation.

The Model OPS-528 is mainly used to incubate chicken eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, pheasant eggs, Guinea fowl eggs and parrot eggs. Other eggs types can also be hatched in this incubator. Separate trays for quail and geese eggs can be provided.

The Model OPS-528 incubator is very popular amongst breeders who would like to incubate eggs on a medium to large scale. This incubator is fully-automatic. Eggs are turned automatically by the incubator, the incubation temperature and humidity is electronically regulated.
