Product Description

Generic Name: Ketoprofen Gel
Composition: Every tube (10 g) of KETOPROFEN GEL contains Ketoprofen 0.3 g.
Excipient: Ethanol, Propanediol, Diethyl Sebacate, Carbomer, Sodium Benzodate, Sodium Bisulfite, Diisopropanolamine, and Disodium Edetate.
Description: A colourless or light yellow gel
Indications: The product can relief pains as OTC drug, which can be used to treat acute or chronic soft-tissue sprain and contusion aroused by the injury of skeletal muscle, and to ease the pains caused by muscle strain. It is also useful in osteoarthritis.
Specification: 3% (0.3g: 10g)
Dosage and Administration: It is externally applied to the pain area for 1~2 times daily.
Adverse Reaction: Occasionally lead to derma allergic reaction, such as dermatitis, eczema, solar dermatitis, and urticaria.
Contraindications: This product is contraindicated in those patients who have shown hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and who suffer from active ulcer of digestive tract.
Precautions:
1 Avoid to contacting with eyes and other mucous membrane, e. G. Mouth, nose, etc.
2 It should be discontinued when the local part of the drug used show cauterization, pruritus, and redness, wash the position the drug applied, and inform the physician if necessary.
3. If the symptoms do not improve after 7 days treatment, check with your doctor.
4. It should not be employed in the broken skin and infectious wound.
5. Pregnant and lactation women should be used with caution.
6. Patient of hypersensitivity to this drug should be contraindicated, patients who allergies to medicines, foods or other substances should be used with caution.
7. If the character of the product is changed, the product should be contraindicated.
8. Keep out of the reach of the children.
9. Children using the product must be ward by the adults.
10. If combining with other drugs please inform the doctor.

Pharmacological Actions: The product is a kind of prostaglandin synthetic inhibitor. It has the effect of anti-inflammation and analgesic. The effective ingredients of the product can reach the inflammatory area directly through the skin, relief the acute and chronic inflammation. To treat the inflammation caused by injury, the product can alleviate and ease inflammatory edema pain.
Storage: Preserved in tightly closed container, stored in a cool place below 20º C, and protected from light.
Package: Supplied in an aluminum tube containing 10g 1 tube/box.
