DIAGNOS Anti-HP Ab Test Device
 
INTRODUCTION
One Step ANTI-HP Rapid Screen Test is a lateral flow, immunochromatographic screening test. Purified recombinant antigens of HP are precoated onto membrane as a capture reagent on the test band region.If the antibody of HP is present in the sample in concentration above the labeled anti-human IgG-dye complex will be formed.This complex is then captured by antigens immobilized in the Test Zone of the membrane,producing a visible pink-rose color band on the membrane. The color intensity will depend on the concentration of the anti-HP present in the sample. This one step test is very sensitive and only takes about 15-20 minutes. Test results are read visually without any instrument.
 
 
SPECIMEN COLLECTION
For serum, collect blood into a container without anticoagulant. If the specimen cannot be tested on the day of collection, store the serum specimen in a refrigerator or freezer. Bring the specimens to room temperature before testing.
 
 
Test Procedure :
1. Dispense 1 drop (10µl) of whole blood/serum/plasma to sample well of the H.pylori test cassette using the plastic dropper provided according to the figure .Add 3 drops of samples diluent to the sample well.
 
2. Interpret test results at 15 minutes.
 
Reading the test results :
 
1. Positive: Both purplish red test band and purplish red control band appear on the membrane. The lower the antibody concentration, the weaker the test band.
2. Negative: Only the purplish red control band appears on the membrane. The absence of a test band indicates a negative result.
3.Invalid: There should always be a purplish red control band in the control region regardless of test result.  If control band is not seen, the test is considered invalid. Repeat the test using a new test device.
Note: It is normal to have a slightly lightened control band with very strong positive samples as long as it is distinctly visible.
