Hastelloy C276 Characteristic
1. One of the few alloys resistant to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions.
2. Exceptional resistance to strong solutions of oxidizing salts, such as ferric and cupric chlorides.
3. Not prone to grain boundary precipitation in the as welded condition and therefore suitable for many chemical process applications

1. Digesters and bleach plants in the paper industry.
2. Components exposed to sour gas.
3. Equipment for flue-gas desulfurization plants.
4. Evaporators, heat exchangers, filters and mixers used in sulfuric acid environments.
5. Sulfuric acid reactors.
6. Organic chloride process equipment.
7. Equipment for processes utilizing halide or acid catalysts
Hastelloy C276 Manufacture Process
The manufacture of sheet is started with producing ingot by advanced vacuum melting process. The sheet production includes forging, rolling, annealing, acid-washing, polishing, etc. The sheet is produced to the required sizes. From the ingot to the final sheet, manufacture process is operated with high standard quality control system. There will be quality test for each batch of product, such as test to thickness tolerance, content, hardness, etc.
