Product Description
ASTM Test/GRI GM-13 Standard
Our HDS (smooth HDPE) and HDT (textured HDPE) geomembranes are produced from high density polyethylene (HDPE) resins resulting in premium grade geomembranes. They are the most widely used products for lining of solid waste sites, mines, and other fluid containment applications. They are preferred for sites requiring low permeability and exceptional chemical and ultraviolet resistance properties. Resistance to weather, ultraviolet rays, and chemicals makes their use an extremely cost effective alternative in reservoir construction.
With the addition of a textured surface the products provide an excellent abrasion resistance. By utilizing our co-extrusion process this textured surface is manufactured homogeneously with the extrusions of the solid barrier portion of our geomembrane, as opposed to being added after extrusion, thus fully integrating with the sheet during the molten phase of manufacturing. The result is a surface that remains intact regardless of the chemicals which may come in contact with the sheet. Our production capabilities allow us to supply either a single or double sided textured surface.
The addition of a textured surface also allow engineers to increase friction between two layers. This also allows for the designing of steeper slopes, resulting in the added capacity of a site. The products also retain all of the excellent properties of our HDS geomembranes.
Unlike other products, our products do not contain plasticizers that could migrate and cause premature aging of the liner or other environmental factors; They do not need to be buried for protection. Our geomembranes are also resistant to mold, mildew, fungus, and chemicals normally found in soil.
While manufactured in the standard color of black, both the products can be manufactured to match any color requirements you may have.
Material Quality Control
Our Quality Control Laboratory is fully equipped to perform a wide range of conformance testing on geosynthetic products. All samples are die cut to ensure uniformity and to meet ASTM requirements. Specimens not meeting ASTM standards are rejected. All Quality Control test results are stored in a computer database for ease of retrieval.
On-line Manufacturing Quality Assurance
Our smooth sheet (HDS) is monitored on an ongoing basis. As the geomembrane is being produced, thickness readings are taken continuously over the entire sheet. This data is used to determine the minimum, maximum and average thickness values for each roll and are verified by thickness testing upon sampling of the finished goods. Standard testing (tensile, thickness, carbon black dispersion, etc. And visual inspection) is conducted at least every other roll of sheet production.

Our production facilities, based in Qingdao, China, are capable of producing over 80 million square meters of geomembrane annually. Utilizing a co-extrusion process, our production facilities are able to supply a wide variety of products to suit every projects need. These products include high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembranes and linear low density polyethylene geomembranes (LLDPE). Both of these products can be supplied either smooth or textured, and in a variety of colors to meet your specific needs.
It is our goal to provide our customers with superior products supported by an equally efficient customer support service. Our ongoing research and development efforts, conducted at our facilities in Qingdao, and in conjunction with other laboratories.
