HYDRATED LIME
Limestone, sedimentary rock composed mainly of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), usually in the form calcite or aragonite. It may contain considerable amount of magnesium carbonate (dolomite) as well; minor constituents also commonly present include clay, iron carbonate, feldspar, pyrite, and quartz. .

Major Applications:
It is raw material for the manufacture of quicklime (Calcium Oxide), slaked lime (Calcium Hydroxide), cement and mortar
Limestone is especially popular in architecture, and landmarks around the world
Pulverized limestone is used as soil conditioner to neutralize acid solids
It is crushed for use as aggregate- solid base for many roads
As a reagent in flu-gas desulfurization, it reacts with sulfur dioxide for pollution control
