Product Description
1 Scope
This guide is suitable for Y2, DSM, YD, (YD2), YX3, YE3 three-phase asynchronous motors and their derivative series three-phase asynchronous motors.
2. Using Condition
2.1 Ambient Air Temperature: changes with the seasons -15 ºC ~ + 40 ºC
2.2 Altitude: not more than 1000 m
2.3 Humidity: wettest month average maximum relative humidity: 90%, meanwhile the monthly average minimum temperature not higher than 25 ºC
2.4 Rated frequency: 50Hz±1% (other frequencies, please see nameplate data)
2.5 Rated voltage: three-phase motor voltage 380V±5% (other voltages, please see nameplate data)
Single-phase motor voltage 220V±5% (other voltages, please see nameplate data)
2.6 Work mode: S1 (continuous) or S3-95%
2.7 Wiring mode: see nameplate or inside the junction box cover
2.8 Stator winding temperature rise limit (resistance method): no more than 80K (which H315L-2, 4-pole and H355 motor base full specifications allow 105K).
Note: For the export or special order of the motor: its frequency, voltage, protection, use conditions may differ from above values.3 Preparation for setting
3.1 Before opening package of motor, please examine if it is wound and moistened.
3.2 Eliminating dust and rustproof layer on motor carefully after opening package of motor.
3.3 Check if the data on the nameplate of motor conform to your requirements.
3.4 Examine patiently if there are deformity, damage and loose or fall of fasteners, and try rotate the motor by hand to inspect its flexibility.
3.5 Measure insulation resistance by 500V megger at room temperature, and its value should not be less than 20MΩ. Otherwise, the drying process of the winding, the processing temperature of the drying must not exceed 120 ºC.
4 Setting of motor
4.1 motor is allowed to use couplings, spur gear and belt drive, but for 2-pole motor more than 4kW and 4-pole motor more than 11kW, belt drive should not be used. If choose small belt pulley, it may enlarge the transmission of texrope. The ends of fan of dual-axes motor are only allowed to transmit by coupler.
4.2 When a belt pulley is adopted to transmit, the axis central line of motor should be parallel to load central line. When coupler is adopted to transmit, axis central line of motor should coincide with load central line.
4.3 For against-set motor, except belt pulley (or equivalent to the load of usual belt pulley), no any other directional axial load apparatus is allowed to carry on axis.
4.4 Setting of motor should ensure good ventilation cooling conditions. 5 Operation of motor
5.1 The motor should be properly grounded, there is grounding device on the right of junction box bottom. If necessary, can also make use of the motor foot or flange plate mounting bolts grounded.
5.2 motor wiring should be carried out properly in accordance with the connection of the junction box or specified on the nameplate.
5.3 Motor should have thermal protection device and should adjust the setting value of protection device according to the motor nameplate current.
5.4 When the power supply's frequency and nameplate frequency deviation exceed ± 1% value or voltage deviation exceeds ± 5%, the motor can not guarantee continuous output power rating; motors for continuous operation, do not allow overloading.
5.5 motor no load or load operation should not have intermittent or abnormal sound or vibration, bearing temperature does not exceed 95 ºC. 6 Maintenance and repair of motor
6.1 Working environment should be kept dry, motor surface should be kept clean, air inlet should not be affected by dust, fibers and other obstacles.
6.2 When you find that the heat-protection device continuously works, you have to ascertain if the fault is result from motor, overload or too low set value of protection device. Motor can be put into operation again only after fault is cleared.
6.3 Good lubrication is required during the operation period of motor. After ordinary motor has run for about 5000h, grease needs to be added or changed (for closed bearing, grease need not to be changed during its service life). During running period, if find the bearing is overheated or grease deteriorates, grease should be changed in time.
Before change grease, you have to clear old grease first, and clean oil scupper of bearing and bearing cover with gasoline, then fill ZL-3 lithium base grease half-full (for 2 pole) or 2/3 full (for 4, 6 or 8 pole) in the space between inner and outer rings of bearing.
6.4 When working time of bearing reaches its service life, the vibration and noise will increase obviously. At the moment, you need to inspect the radial clearance of bearing. 6.5 When detach motor, you can take rotor out from axial end or non-axial end. If it is not necessary to detach fan, it would be much convenient to take rotor out from non-axial end. However, when rotor is extracted from stator winding, you should avoid spoiling stator winding or insulation.
