APPLICATIONS:
TY-SJ604 is designed for hard-facing by single-way spiral welding, swaying welding and strip cladding.
CHARACTERISTICS:
1. TY-SJ604 is an agglomerated fluoride-basic type flux.
2. Basicity: 1.8- 2.0 ( BIIW). Grain size: 10 to 60 mesh
3. TY. SJ604 is a kind of agglomerated flux specially developed for hard- facing/ cladding with the flux-cored wire or strip.
4. The specific gravity in bulk pack is about 0.9. The raw materials of the flux are of high purity and the content of S and P is lower than 0.02%.
5. When welding with fluxcored welding wires of N<0.12%, TY SJ604 possesses the following features:
A: It has a good appearance of weld and smooth clean surface, without slag inclusions, without pores,
B:
It has less loss of alloy elements, keeping the welding layers to have properties of erosion resistance, anti-aging and abrasion resistance.
C:
It may replace Japan-made NB-70M flux.

CAUTIONS:
1. The welding flux must be baked for 2 hours at the temperature of 300-350 centigrade before welding.
2. After welding, the used flux should be screened with 10-40 mesh screen to remove small slags and fine powder.
3. Direct current is a better choice in welding, and parameter when matched with fluxcored welding wire 3.2mm suggested is: Ampere 350 to 550 A, voltage 28 to 34 V, and welding speed 25 to35 M/H.
