Stepped ejector pins
Description
Stepped ejector pins, it's also called secondary ejector pins.
Stepped ejector pins is one kinds of plastic mould part. It's used for plastic mould.
Ejector pins is also called push-rod, insert pin, centre pin, stepped ejector pin,etc.
Movement process
Ordinary ejector pins is moving with the ejector pin plate at the same time,
The movement of ordinary ejector pins is the same as the moving location of ejector pin plate.
The movement of secondary ejector pin is not the same as the moving location of the ejector pin plate.
It's mainly used the ordinary ejector pins in the plastic mould. Only in some special situation, it will use the secondary ejector pins-stepped ejector pins. For example, one of the most common application for secondary ejector pins is that, firstly, it use the ordinary ejector pins to push some products out from the mould, then use the secondary ejector pins to release the not-easy part out from the mold.

Feature
SKD61 ejector pins can bear high temperature resistance with 1600°C, after surface treatment in nitrogen,the SKD61 ejector pins can improve the abrasive resistance. The quality of 65Mn ejector pins is little worse than the SKD61. It's broken easily. So mostly plastic mould will use the ejector pins made of SKD61 material.

(2)Hard alloy ejector pin, such as tungsten steel ejector pins can be used for opening up the long & fine hole.
(3) Plastic mould ejector pins can be used for mould parts, which chas the stable function.
(4) It's also called the insert pins.
Insert pins is set on the mold core, it has the ventilating function, which make the mold core to get the better processing.
Insert pins can be divided to flat insert pin, straight insert pin, ladder-shaped insert pin,etc
