Humic acid derived from animal and plant remains, mainly the plant remains which effected by micro-organism and medium and went through decomposition and composition change. It is a complex mixture of partially decomposed and transformed organic materials and can be distilled from brown coal (weathered coal), peat and lignite. Potassium Humate is a kind of high polymer heterogeneous aromatic sylvine contains hydroxyl, carboxyl, methoxyl and other active groups. These active radicals lead to its weak acidity, hydrophily, ion exchange, complexation, oxygen reducibility and biological activity etc. It is soluble in water and has the function of ion exchange, absorbing, chelating, complexing, flocculating, dispersion and cohesion, etc. It can form multi-functional compound fertilizer if complex with N, P, K and so on. The series products include humic acid, fulvic acid, potassium humate, sodium humate, magnesium humate, etc.
