With famille-rose design of horse over red ground in Qianlong period
The original one is kept in national museum, Taibei.
Flaring mouth, short neck, slipping shoulder, straight belly getting smaller to its foot, with nickname called Lantern vase. Overall painted in carmine as its back ground, and engraved with curl-leaf pattern, which is very clean and delicate, belly painted with horse picture of Mr. Lang Shining, the famous imperial painter of western country, with free and light drawing. This western country is the perfect combination of Chinese brush work with foreign forms of painting animatedly, which perfectly reshow the spirit of Mr. Langshiring. Exterior and interior to the basal face is painted full-green. This kind of fall painting technique is so difficult and complex that making one piece need a perfect craftsmanship, and once it comes out, it will be the first class of the period.
