Service and scale repairs: Less difficulty or cost and service
Scale inspection: Can be performed by simply walking around the perimeter of the scale, but pit type E-weighbridge must be performed from inside the pit
Electricity needed: None, pit-type electronic weighbridge must have electricity for pit lights and sump pump if no gravity drain is present
