Application
Inert ceramic balls are commonly used in reactors and absorber of petroleum plants, alkyl benzene plants, aromatic hydrocarbon, natural gas plants, fertilizer plants, methanol plants, synthesis ammonia plants, etc. They are widely used in petroleum chemical, fertilizer and environmental protection industries. As the supporting and covering fillers, these balls mainly protect, buffer and leach the catalyst. Because of selected ceramic material and advanced technique of production and devices these balls become covering and supporting material and column tower material of catalyst in reactors.
Performance
Inert ceramic balls have stable chemical features and a low rate of water absorption. It can resist high temperatures and pressure. Inert ceramic balls can also resist the corrosion of acid, alkali and some other organic solvents and stand the change of temperature. The main role of these balls is to increase the distribution spots of gas or liquid, and to support and protect the activating catalyst of low strength.
